Death Walker, Death Midwife, End-of-Life Doula or Soul Guide
Psychopomps help individuals (and groups) "cross over" at the time of death, and can offer assistance before, during, and after such an important rite of passage. Because these services are focused on the well-being of the spirit/soul of the individual who is crossing over, they can often be done remotely. Many psychopomps also offer rituals and/or ceremonies to honor the dead, and support communities during the transition.
At this time of rapid global transformation, when many are dying alone during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and others are dealing with required social distancing, these remote-based services of a psychopomp can be very helpful for those who are concerned about the well-being of their loved ones.
This page is designed to connect people with psychopomps who offer their services to assist both the dying and the dead. As a community, we are a diverse group who serve a wide cross-section of humanity, including those with different religious or spiritual beliefs, as well as those who do not follow any particular spiritual path, but are concerned for the welfare of those they love.

These resources are organized by regions, since many offer in-person services. However due to current circumstances, most are only offering remote services at this time.

Each resource has a general description about the services they offer, along with "more info, which can be used for comparison. The following are some general guidelines, to help you understand more about their offerings.
"Skills/Services" Offered
Services may be offered in person, by phone, and/or "remotely" as live session via Skype, Zoom and other platforms. This allows for connections with entire "groups" or as "private" sessions with individuals, families, friends and loved ones. As a community, we all know how to care for the soul/spirit before, during and after the time of death. Since we come from diverse backgrounds, we all use different titles, methods, and skill sets, which are described below.
"Communities" Served
Most serve people of all faiths, beliefs, religions or spiritual paths, including those who may be agnostic/secular, pagan or animist. Some also offer services, which may be helpful to a particular group, including the LGBTQ+ and other communities.
Languages
All speak English, unless stated otherwise. And some speak additional languages.
Gratitude "Payments" for Service
This is "energy" work, or can be considered an exchange of energy, and should be respected as it takes time, effort and focus. Some who have other income streams offer their service for free, or prefer to receive "gifts" or support for a favorite "charity." While others offer their services in conjunction with professional business offerings, especially when they are offering their services to groups through official rituals or ceremonies. No matter who you choose, it is always appropriate to offer an exchange of energy in gratitude. Unless you are in need, in which case look for those who are currently providing offerings for "free" as an act of service to the community, humanity, and planet at this time.
